Can't speak for the stock tires but these cooper tires are very noisy above 40mph. Kinda suck in the rain too.

Heard good things about kumho ecsta 4x. Those will most likely be my next tires.

Someone put CS4's on my car before I got it. After a month I put Yoko S Drives on for summer on new rims. I put Conti Extremewinter contacs on the stock rims for winter. Both are excellect for their designed purpose.

That could be pending tread depth and etc. But all the things i read they are a decent tire, it just they dont have a BIG name so not many people go with them. Kinda like Hankook's v12 evo's prior to those tires coming out not many people cared for them as well.

I've always considered CS4 to be a good DD tire for smaller cars. Its just i normally went the cheapest known tire route which normally is Kumho's ASX stuff.

I like the Goodyear Eagle GTs. Good traction all year. I have yet to notice any noise from them. I also run Powerstop rotors and pads and think they work well. Best part about them is they seem to work better in bad weather

Probably too late, but just thought I'd throw in another vote for the Eagle GT's. I've been very happy with mine for over two years now and will probably buy them again when it's time.

The tire shop also told me they were some of the stiffest sidewalls they had ever seen in case that's something you're looking for.
