Choosing my tires

Hey everyone,
I need some help choosing some tires. Just ordered some XXR 521s 20x8.5 +32 FRONT and 20x10.5 +30 Rear.

I really like the look of a tiny bit of lip sticking out of the fender , but nothing like super stretched tires. just very slight. In order to get that look would i still have to stretch the tires or is there an alternative? are there any problems or dangers of stretching tires?

how do i achieve this look? Right now im looking at 245/30/20 front and 275/30/20 i just want some reccomendations on tire sizes from you guys. not the type of tires but mostly what widths should i get.

any help is appreciated thanks!!
ps heres some pictures of set ups i like: http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u.../IMG_0226x.jpg

It would help if you posted what type of driving you plan on doing with the tires and what type of weather you drive in.

In those sizes, I think Hankook Ventus V12s would be good, or if you want them to last a bit longer and need an all-season tire, Continental ExtremeContact DWS.

I don't know what your price range is, or how important that is... or how much longevity you plan/need/expect to get out of your tires... but I will say that I've had 3 different tires on my car, all on the factory rims.

My Michilin PilotSport OEM tires were really good tires. They lasted me 28K miles of easy driving. They had almost no grip when it got really cold outside and also slipped a lot in the rain once they were a few years old. They had decent rim protection on the sides with a protective rubber lip, and are a pure summer performance tire.

My Falken FK452's gripped really nice, had almost no rim protection, and rode REALLY roughly over bumps. They had great traction both in dry and wet, and actually stuck to the ground pretty good even in cold weather (not snow though), despite being a summer performance tire. These tires has dreadfully poor tire longevity. After 14K miles of light driving, my rear tires were 100% completely bald... as if they were racing slicks. I also had dry-rot cracks in them. I also found that my Falken tires seemed to lose air a lot quicker than any other tire I've ever had in any other vehicle, despite not having any patches or plugs in them and no nails or other tire damage.

I replaced my Falken FK452's with Nitto Motivo's a few weeks ago. I've only had them on there for a few hundred miles but so far am very impressed with them as a casual street driving tire. They ride really nice, both in terms of lack of road noise, smoother over bumps, and seem to grip great as well. These are also a higher treadwear tire, so they should last a lot longer than my previous Falken tires did. They don't seem to offer much in the way of rim curb rash protection. Keep in mind that I've only had these on for a few weeks, so if there are any big negatives about them, I just may not have had a chance to find them yet. These Nitto Motivos are an all-season tire, so they're more versatile in terms of what you should be able to drive in with them... although i don't think I'd try driving them in snow on a low RWD car like ours.

Those sizes look perfectly fine. Not much to choose from in that combo though. Best one I would recommend is the Hankook V12 EVO.

Different brand and model tires are not all sized the same, so even if we recommended a specific size, depending on the tire it might look just like you want while with others it won't.

Your 245/275 combo will be fine. Toyo makes the T1 Sport in that combo. Toyo T1 Sport. Conti DWS would also work well - probably get a few more miles there. Continental DWS Thanks,
