Snow tires...225 65 R17 on g35x?

Can I run 225 65 R17 on my g35x for my winter setup at stock height...got a good deal on a set!

I dnt care too much for the looks...just want it to perform well in the snow ....why wouldn't u do this setup ? Curious

i assume that you have a 1st gen sedan..
first they are much taller than your stock tires.. and also a little wider..

although i doubt it'll make a BIG difference, but wider tires = worse handling in snow.. but since you have a X and winter tires. .shouldn't be an issue...

the biggest reason is that you are going to hate it.. the snow tires are going to handle much worse than you other tires.. MUCH softer side walls.. my car leans SO much around corner with my winter tires.. i keep my eyes on the forecast to take them off during the first heat of the year... and that's with stock size.. with 65 sidewall.. wow.. it's going to be worse..

let's just say that even toyota avalons don't have that high of a sidewall..

I would pass, as they are a lot taller than stock. Cheap alternatives do not always mean they are better!
