I need to make my Mea Culpa, although Michelin Pilot Power's have existed for a relative long time, this super bike tire technology has not been transfered to the road tire (car) called Pilot Super Sport, like I alleged. This confirmation has come to my intention by Michelin.

My bad. Sorry for the trouble I may have caused,

HKK

I would recommend staying with the same tire brand and model front and rear. People mix and match tires all the time but if you can you should get all four of the same brand and model.

It is possible to run two different company's tires on your G for a while but it's not recommended. Two different tread designs might shorten your stopping distance especially under wet conditions. Ask the guys at the Tire Rack, they'll argee....Gary

245/40/19 rears and 225/40/19 fronts are the stock sizes, maybe thats what your friend meant, to run a staggered setup which is what is already done from the factory.
