2004 G35 with OEM Rays

I've spent the past hour searching and can't find my exact setup.

I'm under the impression that 225/40/19 in front and 255/40/19 in rear will work fine, but I wasn't sure if that was on a 2004 G35, since the stock wheels are 18.

Will this throw my VDC off? Currently I have the 225/40/19 up front and 245/40/19 in rear.

Thanks in advance.

255/40 is a big tire...do 245/40 in the rear as paired with a 225/40 up front are stock sizes

yeah I kinda want a bigger/meatier tire. From what I can find it will fit fine, but I just want to make sure since its a 2004 it wont throw the VDC off

225/40 is a really little tire to be paired with a 255/40...i run 235/35 F and 255/35 rear...i'd up the size to a 235/40 up front or a 245/40 up front to go with the 255 then

Little as in looks? I figured since its just the width I'm changing the VDC would be fine. but yes I do have to figure out if it will look stupid.

Just wanted to figure out the VDC issue first lol

When you changed the width of the tire you are actually changing the sidewall height as well.

Here's where it is confusing. According to this thread:

https://g35driver.com/forums/wheels-...0-19-rear.html

It will work(not sure if that's a 2004 or not or if it matters)

But when I use the tire size configurator, it's a difference of 3.5%. Reason I'm using these sizes for the front is because I got a pretty good deal on some tires.

Great job, those sizes will look good together...those are OEM specs and will not throw off your speedometer
