but it's not going away. then i thought it was a problem with the bump stops. not there either.
when i turn, it knocks. i know the stock suspension may have a issue with the lowering. but i thought i'd get more out of 'em. so i'm taking it in to get looked at, and get it reevaluated. i'll let you know what problem i find. but my next thing to look at is the shocks.

great thanks for in info Jas and keep me posted, I am gonna wait until I am sure we are finished with snow here before I get it dropped, so it should be about another month or so before I make the move.
What did you end up finding out?

gting - i'm still looking. believe it or not. i think i just need to regrease my bushings. it doesn't squeak, it knocks. i think it has something to do with the lateral movement of the sway bar. so i'm getting those clamps and regreasing the bushings this week. i'll ket you know what i find.
holy crap!!!!!!!!!! it was just a stupid end link. the other bolt on the end link (the one you don't undo when you install a sway bar) on the driver's side, was loose. i must have taken that bar off and looked at everything about 3 times before we (my wife helped) figured it out. when i went under my car it wasn't in my view, so i didn't notice it, until i was putting it back on for the fourth time and recreated that noise, so i started looking around and found it. who would have thought that a factory bolt would come loose? i tell you what - i wish every factory bolt was that easy to loosen (i.e. exhaust, cats, etc...). those things don't just come off. anyway, she drives like new again. so i have renewed faith in my h-tech's and hotchkis sways.
I had the same problem with my hotchkis sways. I had the same knocking sound, and thought a front shock was bad.
The problem was, since I installed them myself using just jacks and no ramps, is that I couldn't fully tighten the endlink bolt on the front swaybar because the swaybar was not in a neutral position. I should have used jack stands and jacked up the wheel on the side where I was tightening the bolt to put that side in a more neutral position. Also, the stock sway bars don't wiggle around like the hotchkis (stock's have a bent end whereas hotchkis are open ended for that adjustability), another reason why the endlink bolt can get loose.
