What tires to buy?

Hello, I used the search feature however all I could find was what size of tire to buy, not what brand and style to get. I had some Hankook Ventus V12 for my SRT8 Charger and they did pretty well, but my G is quite a bit lighter. Just wondering what tires you have best luck with and recommendations any of you may have. Thanks!

I'm currently using the yoko yk580's and I have no complaints about them whatsoever! However I'm unsure about how you plan on using the car as I mainly use mine as a DD. The Michelin Pilot Super Sports are also a great set of wheels that I'm sure many people would agree on!

I've run most all quality tires made, quite a few have failed for one reason or another. The one brand that has not failed is Michelin! Got 30K miles out of my Michelin PS2s that had a UTQG of 140, very sticky tires. Currently running Michelin Pilot Super Sports that have a UTQG of 300 so they should last considerably longer and have great grip too. www.thetirerack.com sells tires for dealer cost, that's hard for any tire shop to beat. No taxes just pay for shipping....Gary

Find a discount tire and buy them there. They match or beat tire racks price. I know because I manage one. If not go to discount tire directs website. I'm on my 2nd set of super sports and have no complaints.

19 inch wheels. Considering where I live, I need something that gets decent traction in wet conditions. I'm hearing good things about Michelin here

That depends on what you are looking for.

A few of my favorites (in no particular order):

Bridgestone RE-050A (all around street)
Bridegstone RE-760 Sport (value)

Performance:
Bridgestone RE-070
Bridgestone RE-11A
Pirelli P-Zero
Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric
Michilen Pilot Supersport
Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec

If you have had the V12's and liked then, I'd stick with that. They are a very popular bang for the buck sport summer tire for G and 350Z's. Easily used daily.

1. how much are you looking to spend?
2. what about tires is MOST important to you? (treadwear, performance, symmetry, etc.)
3. summer tire? all season tire?
