Has anybody ever heard of these? Sounds like they have some kind of retro theme to them. I was just checking out Tire Rack and they listed these in a 235/50/17 size. They are W-rated with a 320 treadwear rating. They are classified as a "Ultra High Performance Summer" tire. And, they are only $123!!! The specs on them seem pretty good, however, TireRack doesn't list any review or test data for them. Are these new? Anybody have them?

 

Those tires are replacing the Firehawk SZ50 EP (which was an awesome tire by the way). They had planned on bringing the Oval out last summer but they fell a bit behind. We (Tire Rack) should have that size in a couple of weeks. Being the snow season we haven't had a chance to test them yet. Its at the top of our list for spring testing. We should have info very soon as its going to be a great tire to have.
