Question Lowering 6MT Sedan with 350z or G35c Suspensions?

I am considering lowering my 2003.5 6MT Sedan with either revised 2004 350z suspension or a G35c suspension. I've been searching but still have some questions...

1. What are the differences in stock G35c suspensions?

2. Will all G35c suspensions all lower the car 1 inch like the 350z suspension? (I've seen some people say 1/2 inch and some say 1 inch).

3. Are there some coupe suspensions I should avoid? Why?

Thanks!!

They are all the same except for the 2005 6MT coupes. They have new revised suspension with revalved shocks and struts and thicker sways.

The coupe suspension will lower the sedan about .5-.6 inches.

Yeah, any ones that have very high mileage and/or being sold for more than $200.

dklau33 pretty much hit the points worth hitting. I'll add what I can.

1. All G35 coupes made from 2003 to the 2005 cars that do NOT have 19" tires and wheels from the factory as standard or from a option package, have the standard suspension.

Any 2005 coupe with 19's from the factory, means the car is equipped with the sport suspension.

2. As dklau33 said, a oem coupe suspension will lower a sedan 1/2"

3. Yes. The standard suspension will feel no different then the sedan's oem sport suspension.

If you are content with a 1/2" drop and want better performance, find a 2005 coupe sport suspension. I do not know how exactly the sway bar differ then from other G's, Infiniti does point out they are thicker or stiffer with the sport package. Investing in adjustable sway's would be a good idea as part of the plan.

If you want a 1" drop either find a truely revised 2004 350Z suspension (must verify shock part numbers to make sure it has the revised shocks) or just buy the oem Z springs and Tokico D-specs ment for the Z to make your own package.
