Dunlop Direzza DZ101 or Nitto 555 Extreme Performance

Well my Riken Raptor ZR tires blew, and I have the possibility of replacing with either the following:

Dunlop Direzza DZ101 or Nitto NT 555 Extreme Performance.

Can anyone comment on any of these tires? How is the wear? Wet performance?

Thanks

Michelin, tires you can depend on!

How about a better idea? Michelin Pilot Super Sports, best price is from www.tirerack.com. UTQG rated at 300 they'll last for 30K miles and they're sticky with a ton of grip.

The Dunlop has been a decent dd sport tire for a while now. There are better options out there such as the B-Stone RE760's, BFG GForce Sport Comp 2, and Firestone Indy 500 Wide Oval.

errr, both those tires you listed are in the UHP (ultra high performance) category, which I believe is the same as your raptor, and which is a couple steps away from the Extreme Performance category, where the UHP tires have longer tread life but less traction. (and are generally less sensitive to slip angles)

I believe the Nitto EP tire is the NT555RII, and the dunlop is the star spec z1 or z2.
