Recommend tires for NYC / northeast driver ?

Hey everyone. I asked for help before and you guys helped me fix exactly what was wrong !

I need your knowledge again please!

It's time to replace my eagle gt tires. A bubble formed and they're bald and all the signs for changing them are showing.

My tires are on stock rims on a 07 g35x sedan. I do alot of city driving in NYC as well as highway. I need something year round. I prefer safety in rain and snow more than comfort or fast speed. I drive Max 80 mph rarely too.

I drive alot about 2500-3000 mi a month need and oil change almost every other month.

Thanks guys if anyone has a recommend tire they like I'd like to know. I don't even know where to start. But I need em this week. The bubble is scaring me.

Oh yeah I'm looking to spend about 150 a tire. If you guys can even recommend a place in NYC that be even better! (Not sure if that's against forum rules though!)

Thanks in advanced ill probably need help again soon with some oil change questions later.

Thanks
d

Continental Extremecontact DWS

I have them on my '06 G35x. Thay have been on the car for 53,000 miles and still have a little life left in them for rain and dry driving...but are toast for the snow now. When they were new, they were awesome in the snow and I have not needed dedicated snow tires at all with the AWD. Quiet and comfortable too

I full intend to buy another set this fall...right around 60K miles.

FYI this is the 1st gen. sedan section. Also we ask that you start threads in the appropriate sub-forum so it's moving to Wheels/Tires to keep the main sub-forums cleaner.

Sorry, I'm not too familiar with the rims on the sedan, are we talking 18's?

I know the coupes came originally equipped with Bridgestone Potenzas, They aren't cheap.

The Continental Extreme Contact DWS were excellent on my 6MT Coupe... I was dreading driving the beast in the winter, but with careful driving and these tires I was able to drive from NJ to NY with no issues in the winter.

personally they are a soft sidewall and wound up bending the rims easier on a friend's car. they worked great for the winter time though
