275/30/20 vs 255/35/20 fitment question
275/30/20 vs 255/35/20 fitment question
07 coupe. This thread is concerning the rear of my car. I currently have a 20x10.5 +15 with a 275/30 on it. Im dropped around 2 inches on stance's, with -2.9 camber on the rear, fenders rolled with a mild pull. I tried to put my 15mm spacers on tonight to make me +0. They went on, but i could only stick a piece of sandpaper between the quarter & the tire, and when i took it for a spin it rubbed.
My question is if i went with a 255/35, would it fit with my spacers being on?
I didnt take a picture, i forgot to, but i feel as if my tires were stretched a little, it wouldnt rub. Can anyone give me some personal insight on the differences from a 275/30 to a 255/35 would be on a 10.5 inch wheel?
Thanks for any help!

Good point jkuo, thanks for the input.
Might be a odd question, but does anyone know how much clearance you need between the tire & quarter to NOT rub? Not vertically, but as in horizontally. I guess it depends on everyone's individual fitment specs, but any input on that would be beneficial also.

Its hard to figure out since you need to take into account the angle of the tire, how much camber you have, and the angle of your fenders. Its a trial and error process. If you want the aggressive look, you will rub, you can only minimize it, never elimijate it.
