20" Rims - Tire Selection - Wide Or Stretched
Well its time for tires and almost summer time. I have a spare set of stock wheels for winter so im debating on what tire to run on my summer wheels. They are 20"s. 8.5" wide if memory serves. The tires that came on them were a stretched setup of 225/35/20.
Its just my DD, no track, no drag or anything just my daily driver. With that being said I cant decide on going stretched again or going with a wider tire. Im dropped on Z S-techs & have front and rear spacers. I havnt ran the rear spacers as I have to roll the rear fenders first. Either way the rear fenders will be rolled before the rims are put back on.
Anyone running meaty tires on there 20" setup?
Current Tires: Nitto NT 555 Extreme Zr, 225/35/20. They seemed very noisy at low speeds but perhaps this is a con to a stretched setup, not sure TBH.
Here's some pics of how it looked before I pulled the wheels for winter.
Just looking for opinions on sizes or even brand tires for a standard DD.

Meh, I found the same tires that are on those wheels now through discount tire on ebay w/$100 off and free shipping so Im just gonna roll the same sizes as before. The rears don't fit with the spacers on at the moment, believe they were 25mm rear, 20mm front. So ill just roll the rear, throw the spacers on and enjoy them. Just my DD anywho, rather not complicate ****.
