Volk SF Winning 19s powder coated

Just got my volks back from powder coating. He used a low temp bake so they didnt warp in the oven. When I got these they were painted purple. Excited that i found a guy that could do them in the same color of the OEM 18s. After tires show up ill be able to put them on my CB coupe.

Rims look nice, I'm jealous. You'll have to post some pix after you install them.

And what was wrong with purple? Your SF Winnings look great, thanks for doing the job right and having them powder coated! They'll be someone come along and tell you, it would have been cheaper to plasti dip them...just wait!

Thanks, I have a way of only doing things the right way. Money and time well spent always pays off in the end. Ill post some pics of the car in a few weeks when I get a few more things completed and the snow melts.

When I first saw this thread I was hoping that it was a FS thread.

Glad to see that OP saved these beautiful wheels from living the Purple Life.

It would have been cheaper just to plasti dip them. Who powdercoats? Jk well done and think you for knowing you wheels, well, enough to know a high temp bake could have ruined them!

Dumb enough!? It would be a first! A trailblazer to say for a new style of Work Wheels.

People love them so much that Work releases factory finishes of gunmetal with gold metallizer.

This is a world I hope that we never have to live in.

Looking at a set of these myself, how is the fit over the breaks? Did you need a spacer? Any info you could provide would be great.
Thanks D_monkey

Yeah , no spacer needed for the front or rear. The19x9.5+18 has about 2-3mm of clearance from the brembos. Rears clear by a long shot.
