2nd set of tires vs. original tires

My '08 G35X came with Goodyear Eagle RS-A's. At 29,000 miles they were bald - at or just under 2/32nd's with no wet traction. Replaced them with Michelin Primacy MXM4's and as I just hit 58,000, I compared as each set had 29k. The gauge read between 6/32nd's and 7/32nd's - amazing. And the ride comfort over imperfect roads is night and day. I don't know why Infiniti puts these crappy Goodyears on their cars - other than being racing tires the comfort and durability are horrible.

Goodyear tires suck. Ford had a recall on Firestone tires. They were great on the beach inNJ with the sugar sand air down to 15lbs and go
They replaced them with goodyear tires they sucked on the beach! Are you looking for all season or summer tires? Im a hankook fan thats all I use now.

My goodyears were terrible as well. Lasted maybe to 30K tops.

I put Continental Extremecontact DWS's on and they went to 70K miles before needing to be replaced. Just put another set on because I was so impressed. Good snow tire too with the AWD
