Tire size help?

Im planning to get new wheels soon, 19 x 10.5 +12 rear and 19x9.5 +12 front.
What tire size should I get to have a nice look?
I thought about 245/35 all around so I could rotate my tires, any other ideas I could do? How would 275 in the rear look?
Im dropped 1.5 in the front and 1 in the rear on coilovers btw.

I'm looking for similar spec whees & will run 275 & 245's on my coupe after reading up on the subject.

If you go 245 all the way around, you won't want to rotate with a staggered set up.

You want the stretch look? I am 255 in the front and 275 in the rear and still have a little stretch. But i have 20's, might be a little different

I'm trying to make the same decisions. I've listed most of our options in the thread:

https://g35driver.com/forums/wheels-...lk-gt-7-a.html

Here are two more close ups of 255/35/20 on the rear (10.5):

Here are the 245/35/20 on the fronts (9.5):

As someone mentioned earlier, even if all the tires are the same size, your wheels are staggered. You wouldn't want the 10.5s up front and the 9.5s in the rear. You could dismount the tires and switch sides to rotate. Our rims specs are nearly identical (my offsets are F +09 and R +1) and my drop is roughly 2".

Sorry dude. I didn't realize you were on 19s. However, the pics will still show what that size tire on that size rim width would look like regardless of 19s or 20s. Very stretched IMHO. Here is my old G with the following wheel specs:

19 x 8.5 (+23) with a 15mm spacer (+08)
19 x 9.5 (+24) with a 15mm spacer (+09)

Tires are:
245/35/19
275/35/19

1.1/1.0 drop

Also keep in mind that my 19s are F 8.5 and R 9.5, so that size tire would look a bit more rounded (ie, "stretched") on yours than in my pics. Also, no problem with alignment or rubbing but I wasn't as dropped you and my fenders are rolled. Your wheel width and offsets (+12) are pushing it for rubbing issues.

I live in Cali, so I run NItto NT-555 Extreme Performance (I've had several sets) since weather is not an issue. Great looking, good performance, reasonably priced and last a long time. Can't comment on the Falkens and I personally have never liked the Michelin (pricey and just not that impressed). Good Luck!

I'm running 19x9.5 +28 on the front with 255/35 and 19x10.5 +29 on the rear with 285/35. I'll post some pics of my fitment in the morning. I like the lowered look on some meaty tires, I'm not a big fan of all kinds of stretch. This is just what I run.

I ran some falken ziex last set of tires. They were super decent, but, man, they burn fast. Of course the treadwear rating was only 360. I got 29k miles out of them, but they were bald as ****. I've heard of people only getting 10k out of em if you like to get weird with it.

29k is pretty decent for a Z rated tire. I once got almost 40k from a set of Nitto NT-555 but I think that was more luck and when my car was able to be aligned better in its earlier days (prior to spring sag and old shocks/struts.

Please post those pictures. Also, are you dropped and if so how much/on what?
I am way more aggressive on offsets than you:

20 x 9.5 (+09)
20 x 10.5 (+11)

I'd like to run 245/35/20 F and 275/35/20 but the problem is my Eibach Prokit drop of 1.1 and 1.0 has turned into 2.25 and 2.1 inch drop due to sagging springs and/or blown Tokico D-Specs. So I can't pull this off until I get some coilovers and raise it back up 1/2" to 3/4". I'm not a fan of stretched tires either but that's all that works for now.

My tires now (Achilles atr sport) have 20k and look great still. Its a z-rated tire with a 420 treadwear rating. Awful in the rain, but I'm in SoCal. Great on dry warm days.

I'm in SoCal too (Orange County Area). It doesn't rain often, but when it does the Nittos are awful too. Only real complaint I have about them.

Yeah, I swear last time it rained I just sat in one spot for a good two seconds just taking off from a red light. Tires just wouldn't catch. Haha
