Tpms question

The tpms light comes on only when driving on the highway for 45 minutes. If city driving the light never comes on.
What should I be looking at?
Replace all the sensors?

Thanks

If your dealer is nice they will let you know which ones have gone bad with Their mobile computer. They can reprogram them too when you get new ones... But I would get all 4 at once.

Your tire pressure sensors have batteries and they only last so long. Mine are doing what you describe, freeway speed for about 30+ miles and I get the dash warning. They've been in 5 sets of wheels for 11 years so they need to be replaced. I've been told by (those who know) to only buy Nissan OE sensors to keep from having issues. One day when I'm bored with nothing else pending I'll have a new set installed, just not a fan of breaking down my tires without a damn good reason...Gary

You could put TPMS sensors in.... Which could save your Life... Blowouts on 19's can be really dangerous.

Thanks for the answers. Was king of figuring the batteries were going. I am currently on the 2nd set of sensors. I guess with the with my mileage and cold winters I've averaged 5 years before the batteries go and always in the winter.

True ^ and besides a blowout might be tough on my wheels! There is no sound when I get the warning on the dash so I know it's just a flaky sensor...Gary

May want to have them scanned at your dealer to see if one is bad. Batteries last on average seven years.

Would need to find a good dealer. The local one tried to hit me with so many charges I had dealer servicing done an hour away where I previously lived.

Not all dealerships are all that bad! We have a vendor on our Marketplace, OC Infiniti that takes care of us with decent prices on everything...Gary

When I bought the car off a friends lease I negotiated with infiniti finance an amazing price. Infiniti finance was suggested to transfer title at my local dealership, different state from where it was titled. The local dealership wanted a $4000 transfer fee because "I was getting the car too cheap". I had to go there to get an oil change so the mileage was logged officially at an Infiniti dealer for the extended warranty. They realized I went around them to buy the car then hounded me for 6 months with daily phone calls for "extra services".
