Will 225 35 19 fit in the front?

Hey driver community, I was wondering if 225 35 19 tire will fit fine in the front?

I need to replace my front two tires and saw a good deal on some used Bridgestone Potenza RE050A y rated tires on craigslist so I was thinking about getting them. Only problem is they are 225 35 19. Currently I have 245 40 19 in the rear and 225 35 19 in the front. Will it be fine? Thanks!

So you have currently had a 225/35/19

And now you want to know if a 225/35/19 will fit

Haha, I got caught up with all the numbers. I meant I have a 225 40 19 right now and was wondering if the -5 difference in the sidewall would make a difference. The tire I want is 225 35 19.

My car had 225 35 19s on the front when I brought it. It'll fit but I hated it. you feel more bumps in the road, the tires look like they're almost (a friend told me that's because mine were stretched), and it's much easier to crack a wheel with lower profile tires. I brought a cheap pair of 225 40 19s a few months ago it made a world of a difference for the comfort in the ride.

Hmm interesting, thanks for the feedback. I don't really want to get a less comfortable ride so I'll probably pass on the 225 35s for now. Doesn't seem like there is any cheap pair of 225 40s right now, I might have to get the 225 35s if I don't find any 40s because mine have a lot of camber wear and looks like its going to strip.

unless the car is dropped itll increase the wheel gap and look funny, specially if youre gonna leave the rear as 40s. but yes it will fit.

i went for 225/45 front and 245/45 for rear still fits but rubs on bumps, not turns(pretty sure if i roll my fenders it wont). it also looks great; tightens up the wheel gap and makes the car look cleaner (IMO). tire rack had the BFgoodrich gforce sport comp2s for a pretty good price. got all 4 for about 680$

Yea it's definitely a ride difference in the the 2 sizes imo. And you're right about the the price but that's because they're 19s it's a odd size the cheap pair I brought was a pair of nankang ns2's idr the price but they were the cheapest I could get on short notice I had recracked a wheel and didn't want to put the 225 35s on the new ones.
