Nexen N5000 plus - ABS acting up
mHello all,
I recently bought 2 rear Nexen N5000 plus tires from walmart. I woke up one day and the 2004 G35 6MT had a flat, I changed and put on the spare and Walmart was the closest place. I was hoping they could fix it but they said it was unfix-able and that I needed a new tire. I knew that I had to buy two rear tires and since I didn’t have many options I took what they offered me which was the Nexen N5000 plus, I did a quick search on my phone and it had like 4 stars on a website with 26 reviews, at the walmart site it had 16 reviews with 4 stars. Tirerack was not an option and Firestone said it would be $450+ for two tires.
I know that this is probably a crime to put these tires on and buying them from walmart but I was leaving town in two days and couldn’t leave my girl driving on a spare for several weeks.
Fast forward a couple weeks and she called me and told me that when she gets on to a ramp as she is turning right into the ramp if she hits the brakes the ABS light goes off and she feels the ABS kicking in. This only happens when she is turning into a right curve before entering the expressway.
I am not sure if this is a tire issue due to the Nexen tires or if they did something wrong when they changed the tires. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Calling Walmart is a nightmare, you are put on hold for 45 minutes and then they hang up. The tires are probably 30 days old.
Any ideas on what could be causing this? and a possible solution.

hello, thank you for replying, the tires and rims on the car are OEM, the rear tires/rims are 245/45 R18.
I need to replace the front ones but I rather not make the same mistake with the Nexen N5000 plus if those are a problem from the get go.

get toyo's or hankooks ...
or if moneys not a problem pilot spots ...
all of these are best bang for the $ to performance ratio
I appreciate the info, I already bought the Nexens rear tires so I am kinda stuck with them, not sure if I can return them after 30-45 days.
