Advice on wheel setup

I'm looking at 18x8 +40 front and 18x9.5 +40 for my 2005 g35 sedan with stech springs I'm wondering if anyone else have this setup and what tires are you running I was planning on just swapping my 235/45r18 tires from my stocks also if you guys recommend spacers

Even for a sedan those are fairly high offsets...will be sunk in.
As far as tires, you'll have a decent stretch on the rear with the 235, could bump that up to a 255

I wouldn't go +40mm offset on an infiniti ever, like Venom said the rim will be set inside the wheel well alot unless that doesn't bother you. Not sure how much it would effect handling but i notice with a lower offset rim and wider wheel i like the handling a lot more on my car opposed to a higer offset rim. +40mm offset rims are more of a Honda and smaller type car rim offset. If you want the flush look atleast go with +20mm offsets, and stock rims are +30mm, +32mm offset to give you a better idea. Goodluck.

Sorry I stated the +30mm and +33mm offset from the 19" forged Rays rims I used to have not all the OEM rims... but here is the offset and size of most OEM rims for G35's posted from Darkness_S14 from another post. Again... anything at or above +32 offset your rims will set in the wheel well more. If that's fine with you, enjoy. Goodluck.

with the wheels ur looking at since its 2.5" wider than ur stock ones, half that and thats how much more the wheels will poke out (1.25") compared to stock since the offset is about the same. so if ur fine with the way the current wheels sit ull be a little happier seeing it pushed out an extra 1.25"
