Kumho MX or Bridgestone S03?

The Pilots on my car is almost going bald, so it's time for new tires. I have aftermarket wheels: 18X8.5F and 18X9.5R, so I can go with larger tires if I want to, but the only problem is the price. I'm currently considering Kumho MX in 245/40/18F and 275/40/18R, and also Bridgestone S03 in stock sizes. I personally love S03's and it seems like superior tires to Kumho MX, but there is no way that I can afford those in same sizes as Kumho MX. Kumho MX is about $700 for a set in those sizes, and S03's are almost $900 in stock sizes...
So, does anyone have experience with both tires? How is Kumho MX compared to stock Pilots and S03's? Would going with wider MX's provide better traction in cornering than going with S03's in stock sizes? Also, if you can explain the characteristics of Kumho MX, that would be great(i.e.: wet traction, how it breaks away and recovers, dry traction, sidewall stiffness, etc.).
Thanks in advance!!

BTW... I'm also considering Toyo T1-S's and Nitto 555's in 245/40/18 and 275/40/18 as they came out to be $750 and $650 in those sizes... Damn, I just don't know what to go with. I guess I will just rule out Bridgestones in stock sizes.
So if you can tell me which has best performance out of three: Toyo, Kumho, and Nitto, that would be great. Thanks!
