I have run nothing but low pressure cast wheels and OEM for the last eight years. Went through at least 5 sets. Bent every damn one of them, even the OEM set AND a set of 19" M35 wheels, both made by Rays (supposed to be top dog manufacurers). The ones on the car are bent now too. I would think that good FORGED wheels would make a difference. I can't afford HRE wheels so it really doesn't matter to me.
You are NOT running Volk wheels anymore as it says in your sig?

You know what's funny is that I actually have had my XXRs for a while now and a few months ago I took a corner just a little too sharp and only my right rear went bare lip (cus my rear tires are kinda stretched which I hate), to curb. And all that happened was a tiny gouge. No bend. No crack. Nothin. When I got my wheels powder-coated the guy whose been in the business for 30 years said they were some of the best cast wheels he's ever seen. But hey, my Porsche will have HRE's without a doubt.
Your tires didn't look stretched in the side shot of your car you showed me

Tex, that's a great HRE vid for those **** looking to invest in wheels! With manufactures calling their wheels "Forgeline" when they aren't, still might be a wee bit confusing!
