G35 Sedan with Tein Basics Installed **PICS**

I bought my Tein Basics from Gruppe-S, and had them install it. They did a kick A$$ job, everyone there is hella cool and eager to help. If you are looking for some coilovers give Tom a call at Gruppe-S (510) 783-5300

My alignment is not that great, but I ordered the rear SPC camber kit and should have it installed next week. I am not sure what I am going to do about the fronts because the all those front A-Arms from different companes are super expensive. Well here are the pics, sorry there is so many of them, but I figures some of the people on this board would like to see it from every angle.

I forgot to mention how it rides. I use to have eibachs installed on my G35 and my car came with the sports suspension. Well Driving down to Hayward with the Eibachs, and coming back from Hayward to Sacramento on the Tein Coilovers was like night and day. To me the Tein's offered a smoother ride, and more stability at high speeds. Seems there is less body roll when taking turns and making lane changes at high speeds. Over all I am very satisfied with the Tein Basics. I didn't go with the Tein CS or Flex cos of two factors, cost, and I would never adjust the dampening on the coilovers, so I would be paying for a feature I would never use.

Mark5--
The Eibach's dropped my car by 1.1 inches. I think with the tein's I am at 1.6" drop maybe lower in the front, and about 1.3 in the rear.

Ed...

Yes they are 18's, I wish I could have gone with the 19's but I couldnt afford them. My friend was closing down his shop and sold me the 18's for dirt cheap.

Nice looking car. However, that exhaust looks out of place of this car. Just doesn't fit with the image of this car.
I hope your ok with my opinion.

Hey DUDE!!! It's a message board everyone has a right to there own opinion.

Don't worry I don't take offense, I know some people like it, and some hate it. I just happen to be the one that likes it

19s

all i have to say is 19's suck if you drive hard, or track.

want my 19's? haha.

thank you SO MUCH for posting those pics. you just proved to me a g35 sedan CAN look hot if it is on 18s, and dropped right. i'm doing do-luck double-six or something similar soon

Phil-------- thanks for the compliment, I don't think 18's look bad at all on the Sedan, 19's would be nice but the harsher ride is definately a draw back.

Hyde--------- coupe rims are sold, but I do have some used Eibach springs if anyone is interested.

Beangrower------ I am running Yokohama AVS ES100's 245/45/18 front and rear.

Ed--------I dont think the fujitsubo exhaust looks bad on our cars, it could be better, but the main reason for me was I didn't want something too loud like the stillen or borla.
