19x8.5 +45 offset on sedan

Does anyone know if 19x8.5 +45 offset all the way around will work on a sedan? I plan on lowering 1-2 inches.

Thanks

A little too high for the front, would work with a 10mm spacer. What tire size are you going to run and will you never want to run any wider then that?

+45 would be way too inset. +38 would be ideal.

The size wheels I am looking at are PIAA Rozzo Supermesh 19x8.5 with +42 offset. The tires I am looking at are 245-35/40-19. I am not sure I want to go the spacer route since I would like the front and rear to both have the same location relative to the fender.

I think you might be OK with the +42 offset, but I'm not sure about the look. I tried a search for people with the same set-up but I didn't find anything. Maybe try a new post titled Anyone with 19x8.5 w/+42 offset on sedan? or something like that. Then you'll get a better idea of how it would look.

As far as the tires I recommend 245/40/19.
