I'm tired of tpms light and don't want to use electric tape, however, I'm a bit confused and would like to confirm.

1. Is 40700-CD001 correct part number for tpms sensors for 2005 G35x? They are blue.
2. Will I be able to use this reset procedure https://g35driver.com/forums/wheels-...ial-tools.html to activate them as soon as they are installed?

I found 4 new sensors for 54$ on ebay + my local tire shop will charge 15x4 to install them, if I manage to reprogram them per link below my total cost will be 114$ which is not too bad (although 18$ more than I spent on fixing things for past 20k miles)

That sounds like a Nissan sensor as they are blue most always blue. Part number matches the Nissan version also. You may want to ask your local dealer to make sure before ordering.

I called infi dealer and they told me 40700-CD001 should fit. Now I just need to find out if I can reactivate them on my own as of dealer charges so much to do this I can hardly believe it.

My dealer reprogrammed them for free when mine died. It took like 10 minutes to do in the parking lot.

I wish my dealer was the same. They charge 95$ per sensor for the part itself and then forwarded me to service department but I wasn't brave enough to hear the labor part. Anyway, I just ordered a set of 4 new sensors from ebay for 42$ and will have them installed by local tire shop for 15each per shop's estimate, if everything works out I'll fix the system for 102$ of of pocket which is 8 times less expensive than dealer's quote.

Great lesson you've learned here, dealer's a rip off for most parts/repairs. Lots of options out there and good for you for searching other options.

I went to pepboys and installed two sensors into the wheels where they didn't work according to my tests (no beep with low PSI), the sensors look brand new and look exactly the same as old sensors. I have a compressor with a gauge, a manual gauge and an automatic compressor at nearby sunoco, I inflated the tires per manual using each of them put the car into learning mode and traveled for 5-15 minutes on a speed above 25mph and it didn't work. Each gauge had different readings, sunoco automatic compressor had two different readings two times I used it with 5 min interval, I have no idea if the PSI should be exact but I have no idea how to set the tire exactly as in manual, I'm 100% sure TPMS sensors itself have their own POV on the pressure in the wheels.

I have two questons:

1.How exactly do you inflate the tires to be 100% sure that pressure is as expected in the manual?
2. There is another way to activate the wheels, will any activation tool work? I can go to nearest tire shop but don't want to pay 100$ for that.

ok. the story continues. I bought a digital sensor tool and set the pressure according to it, I also compared its readings with my other tool and they were exactly the same, pretty much my 2$ analog pressure monitor works just fine. I set the pressure as expected but it still didn't work so I went to a few shops to check if my sensors are alive but 2 out of 3 told me they won't mess with TPMS sensors installed in a different place, however, the third shop was good enough and we checked the sensors together. Appeared that the sensors were dead Basically, I bought 4 sensors from seller WFXPRESS from ebay which were advertised as new and looked new, but I was foolish enough not to check them before installation, as a result I have spent a bunch of time and money on trying to activate dead sensors. I'm now trying to deal with the seller.

Dead sensors already? I mean at $10 a sensor I kinda believe that.

Then message them and get some more sent out. That doesn't make any sense that they sent you used ones.

They didn't look used. Anyway, I contacted the seller to hopefully will get a refund and will buy a tpms tool and will try to activate on my own (found the tool for 50$). All this TPMS thing is a huge scam. Never had bigger hassle with any of my other cars and one of them was literally falling apart.

ok, so I bought a TPMS tool and activated the sensors, however, the light goes up in 10 minutes and blinks three times when I go to diagnostics mode, according to manual three times = right rear wheel, however, I'm not stupid anymore and I wanted to make sure it's actually rear wheel, so I reactivated the sensors but started from random wheel instead of front left, I did it twice, removed the battery to make sure the error is cleared but every time it tells me that my rear right sensor is faulty, the activation works just fine, the TPMS tool beeps, the turning signal blinks twice and the light is gone from the dash as soon as activation is over, however, every time I drive for exactly 10 minutes the light goes back and tells me to check rear right sensor. Any clues?
