sedan wheels size

what kind of offset should i run on a sedan if i want some deep dish rims

i'm looking for a set of 19" running 245 tires front and 275 in the rear

i really have no idea on what offset i should run to get a nice dish

i'm planning on either getting SF-Winnings or SF-Challenge in RMC
i know G35lin have Progressive spoke, but it doesnt seem to have quite a dish

anyone got a sedan with these wheels? thnx

Since the sedan does not have the fenders of the coupe or Z your more limited in what you can do. In the front with the tire size you list 35mm is about as low as I'd go on a 8.5" wide rim. In the rear, I would not go lower then 45mm with a 275 tire on a 9.5" wide rim.

Thing is Enkei measured a sedan for fitment and a 245 tire with a 9" wide rim and a 38mm offset, it was within 2mm of the fender lip. A 275 tire on a 40mm offset will eat up that 2mm and more. More negitive camber does increase clearance from the rear lip, but then you eat tires. I learned a lot on the front as far as clearance by removing a single front spring and checking clearance. It's one thing to check with the car just sitting their, what your clearances are when the suspension has to compress under load or for bumps is a whole different matter.

With an 8.5 inch wheel the smallest offset you can run is +38. Anything less then that would rub. +29 is out of the question. Unfortunately with the sedan it's hard to get the really fat lips we see on the coupes.

I'm running 19X8.5 with a +35 offset all the way around on my sedan. The 245's in the rear are very close to the fender, but no rubbing at all. If I do need wider tires, I will probably need to roll my fenders, but my current setup does not require it.

this is what i came up with

SF Challenge
Front: 8.5 w +34 or +42 offset 50mm lip
Rear 9.5 w +48 offset 56mm lip

SF winnings
Front 8.5 w + 35 or + 38 offset 49 or 36mm lip
Rear 9.5 w+42 offset with 55mm lip

That +34 offset is REALLY pushing it.

I think the +42 would look OK, I don't know about BBK applications. If you go with the +34 you may need to roll your fenders. Isn't there any offsets in between? +38 or +40??

those are the largest offset for SF challenge 8.5

+42 could use a 5mm spacer right?
