Sedan fitment

I was wondering if someone can help me out with a wheel setup that I want to do. I plan on putting some 18x9.5 +35 wheels since I can't sell them I'll just put them on on my 05 6mt sedan. However I want to run 255 tires all around. If I use a 10-25mm spacer can I clear the steering knuckle in the front? I don't mind rolling or pulling my fenders, but with just the wheel on by itself It barley scrapes the steering knuckle. And will the rear have a enough clearance? There's only about 1mm of space between the back of the wheel and the steering knuckle. I also plan on dropping the car about 1"-2"in all around too with tein coilovers. Will all of this work or will this become to dangerous? Thank you.

10 to 25mm spacer is huge! I would at most put a 5mm.

this is 19X9.5 +28 with a 235/40/19 up front and it's more than enough for a nice flush fit. With your 255 tires, you'll need a little bit of rolling of the tabs to minimize rubbing but stick with a 5mm first.

Man thank you for replying, yeah that's what I was thinking, I just want to make sure that the new tires will clear the steering knuckle. I guess I'll try a 5mm spacer then at hope for the best. Thanks again

I will respectfully disagree, there are hundreds of people (or more) on this forum and a lot more out in the real world that will agree spacers are perfectly safe if they're quality pieces. I personally wouldn't run anything bigger than a 25mm though, just personal preference not out of fear that bigger spacers could create some sort of failure.

I was talking more in terms of fitment.

OK I mis-read your post, so sorry. I thought you were referring to safety, not fitment. Thanks for setting me straight.

haha no worries. I also have used bolt on 10mm spacers although it is quite sketchy seeing how thin the lug seats were on my Ichiba ones... I've actually had a set of 10mm come loose during highway speeds.

Man oh man, don't get me started on Ichiba crap. Back in the day I had 4 separate Ichiba products fail on me and there are tons of threads documenting Ichiba fails. Here is a great one to read with links to others in it.
