Another will it fit thread...

Hate doing this but i've searched and searched and searched... So I found some local Volk SF Challenges for sale and they come in the following sizes:

Front 19x9.5 +23 Tires 245/40
Rear 19x10.5 +15 Tires 275/40

Current owner says he pulled them off a non-brembo G35. From searching on here and google, so far i've only seen the +28 definitely clears the brembos (found here: https://g35driver.com/forums/wheels-...s-18-19-a.html).

I think I found some pics on a brembo package G35:

Found these but they don't mention offsets
https://g35driver.com/forums/19-inch...lenge-set.html
https://g35driver.com/forums/wheels-...hallenges.html

Looks like a +21 also clears:
http://www.6mt.net/forum/wheels/4386...19-wheels.html

EDIT They have them posted in a couple different spots with the offsets backwards so I asked for clarification. +23 front and +15 rear in one place and +15 front and +23 rear in another jesus...

EDIT 2, confirmed they are +23 front and +15 Rear

Nevermind! Looks like what I wanted originally just randomly showed up on ebay! Freshly powder coated OEM 19" Rays in Satin black.

You're taking OEM rays over Volk SF's...? You okay there bud? Those sizes are SUPER SUPER SUPER common, pretty much everyone with decent wheels is running similar specs. Front would need a 10mm spacer to be as flush as the rear. Also, offset has pretty much nothing to do with brake clearance, as that's pretty much limited to the disk size. On real wheels the disk should be listed on the sticker on the barrel or on the back of the face of the wheel, if you want to ask the guy.

For future reference, a higher offset means the wheel is more 'sunken in.' So by saying the +28 clears, and you're wondering if the +23 would, it's pretty much irrelevant.

Pretty much. The volks would have needed to be cleaned up had some rash on a couple of wheels and were still more $$ than the OEM Rays. The Rays that came up for sale today were freshly powder coated so no rash and I don't have to worry about fitment. The only reason I was even interested in those wheels was because they were volks that were priced really well (no close ups of the rash though, he mentioned being quoted 500ish to fix all of them up). I'm more of a TE37/CE28 fan to be honest. Had a set on my Subaru back in 04.

I actually edited that post several times as it started out with +15 front and +23 rear. they flipped it on me and then said +23 front and +15 rear. I was a little concerned with the +15 rear sitting a little too far out. Getting into reading about the disk size was also throwing me as I saw a couple posted w/ different disk sizes (care to elaborate on what that actually is/means?) I'm assuming its the portion of the wheel that sits in the barrel?

Pretty much offset is fitment, and disk size is brake clearance.

Great info. Thank you. Do you know if this is usually stamped in the back or maybe comes on the stickers on the inside of the wheel? Or is this a box only sticker type deal?

On name brand wheels, like Work, Weds, Volks, there should be a sticker on the barrels of the wheels that indicate size, offset, and disk size. If the wheels have ever been rebuilt then these stickers will not be there. I cannot answer whether or not it would be on the back of the face, as every wheel and every wheel manufacturer is different.
