17" 04 Stock Tires=What Size Rims?
17" 04 Stock Tires=What Size Rims?
I know my ignorance is shining brightly, but I have no what to tell this guy.
Here's the story. I'm selling my 17" stock tires off my 04 sedan. The guy I'm selling them to doesn't have any rims, yet. So he asked me if the tires will fit on any 17" rims. Will they? I have no idea!
Thanks for any guidance and advice.

hmmm....i'm not sure but if i had to guess....7.5. I think the better thing to do would be to give the guy the tire size and have him tell the rim place what size rim he needs. Dont take my word for it on the 7.5....thats just a guess.
The stock tire size on an '04 Sedan is 215/55/17. The range of rim widths that will fit with that size tires is 6" - 7.5". The recommended rim width for that size tire is 7". So the guy your selling too would probably want to get either a 17x7 or 17x7.5 wheel since those are common.
