285/30/19???

285/30/19???

well my wheels are going to be here any day now and i need to order tires...the rims are 19x10 and 19x9's .... i was thinking about running a 285/30/19 in the back and a 245/35/19 for the front .... anybody have any expierence with these sizes?

Those will probably rub, but not sure. But why run such a massive size? The understeer will be really pronounced. Why not run 275 like the Nismo recommendation?

hmmm... i was never aware of any nismo recomendation...can you give me any more info on this?

Below is a recent article on Nismo tuned 350Z's. Should use the same setup for the G, as it's more or less the same car.

We constantly use x235F & x275R, but I think x245F & x285R WILL work pretty well

I,m running 20 x 10.5 with 285-30-20
with 1.1 dropped no rubbing

You could also run 255/35/19 front & 285/35/19 rear. I think you could also fit 245/35/19 front & 275/35/19 rears with no problem.

Running a 285/30/19 might be a tad too small - overall height.

im running 245/35/19 and 285/35/19 w/ no rubbing on a 19x9, 19x10 setup...Im on OEM ride height however...

Really? I thought the 285's would rub in the back..or so i heard...My order for tires are 275..wondering if should up it???.....

I have 19x9.5" wheels in the rear and running 285/35/19. This size is closer to stock than a 285/30. My offset is +20 and I'm lowered on RSR springs. I don't have rubbing.
