Hello. for the g35x do you get rear wheel driv rims? Or does it matter?

Can you get staggered rims on the G35X? What are the disadvantages?

There's no difference between a RWD wheel and an AWD wheel, so your choices are wide open.

The important thing on the G35X is that all the tires are the same overall diameter. If you go with different size tire diameters front and rear then when the AWD kicks in to supply power to the required wheels then you have the drive line components fighting with each other and this will cause abnormal wear of components and the AWD system will not operate as designed.
You can use any wheel as long as the offset is correct for that size wheel so it does not rub on the inside or outside. It must also clear the brakes. The bolt pattern must be 5 x 114.3 and the wheel should just fit over the hubs, if there is excess clearance than centering rings should be used. The stock rims are 17 x7" with a 45mm offset.
If you want to use different rims there are lots of threads on the site that give the correct offset with wheel and tire sizing for the sedan. Just check them out using the search.
