hey guys, i was really never interested in stern wheels until a friend proposed an offer I just cant refuse. He is sellin me 19" stern st-2 wheels w/tires BRAND new for $800!!!! So after seriously considering it, I am 90% sure I want to buy them. Any feedback or thoughts about Sterns? I am a little hesitant to buy them because I am not sure if they are good quality.

Ive always been a big fan of volks wheels. Are these even comparable?

i dont like chrome on the G, but damn, 800 is like a set of cheap rubber for 19s, id say buy them, fugit, if u dont like them 2 months later, u could alwaasy get what you paid for them, goodluck man.

 

hmmm anyone know about how much these retail for, so in case i dont like them, i can sell them (perhaps for more than i paid)?

Are these cheap wheels??? If they are, i'd much rather save to buy volks.

those sterns are 1 piece cast.they're heavy.the set i looked at before has some bad chrome job spots.i believe you can get them brand new for around $900-$1100 set of four 19".they're best bang for the bucks if you are not too much into quality.does look good on the car too.but there's reason for them not being popular,cheap and your friend want to get rid off.

But hey for $800 NEW, try it, since he is your friend and you wanna help him, right? If you don't like, you can get rid off them like $600 wheel+tire easily, then get the Volks.

Sterns vs Volks, sorry you are comparing apple with orange... of course I will suggest Volks if you are willing to wait for a little bit longer time
