new wheels and springs

I put some coupe springs and a new set of HP evos on. I'm running 245/45/18's for now but I'll be going to a 40 series next. I like the drop on the back of the car, but I think the front is a bit high. With a set of 40's on there I think I might go with H techs since they claim a 1.4 inch drop in the front and .7 in the back.

Yeah the front didn't look like it moved much at all. The back seemed to show the drop much more. I'm going to put the h techs on before I put the 40's on just in case I like the 45's better. The only thing I don't like about the 40's is the gap that you end up with. I don't want to get into alignment issues trying to make up that gap. I figure with 40's I'd end up with another .4" drop in the front only. I think there's about a inch difference between the two tire sizes.

Geewiz's old wheels and with the 40's it is about .4 drop. I have 245/40/18. I can tell a difference as I scrape on a driveway that I never used to. I'm gonna go with the H techs also. BTW car looks good geewiz.

Those wheels look much better on your black car than on mine. I like the hyper silver lights on the desert platinum. I thought they might be to bright but I really like them. Now if I had black I would definitily go with the darks. Looks real good. I like the 40's too. Post some pics when you put the springs on.

IMO, buy a set of oem 350Z springs and only install the front's. You should be able to find a unsold set for $65 shipped if you look back 2 or 4 pages in my350Z.com's wheels/tires/suspension classified section.
