Coilovers and Alignment

When I install my coilovers whichever brand yet undecided and all the camber arms, toe bolts, etc. and get it aligned to spec what happens if I decide to lower it more? Say I go down another .5 inches, will it throw the alignment/camber off so that I have to have it done again?

Unfotunately ... YES.

Ride height is the single largest factor in alignment attitudes.

yeh, this car is extremely sensitive to ride height.

The max you can go without adjustment is probably -.25" in height.

That sensitive? I thought I read somewhere in this forum that -0.5" front and back should be still okay without adjustment. Maybe that's not the case?

I think they seem to have exaggerated just a tad, you could probably go with a one inch drop and still be within spec for toe and camber, it will be closer to the high side of spec but it should align with no issues (there is about a 1 degree difference between the low and highend of the stock settings). The G has a decent amount of adjustment in the stock suspension. You will be okay with a minimal drop.

All these cats that are in the weeds makes me want to go 1.5 to 2 inches instead of my original plan of 1 inch! I hate car forums!!!!

no 1 inch drop you loose too much toe-in causing wandering.

I talk from experience, not exaggeration.
