I prefer 5-spokes
Amen! I have a polished deep dish which gets pretty nasty if you don't clean it every other day, but I don't mind keeping the car/rims clean.

tell me about it. especially after the rain when it gets all gunky. the spokes seem more polished than the lip

I've got my PIAA sportmesh sitting in front of my desk.
The Toyo T1-Rs are supposed to arrive tomorrow... can't wait.

The PIAAs are Hyperblack so should hide brake dust a little;
but I really don't care if they take a few more min. to clean

I'm new to this forum, but from what I understand, another option would be to go with ceramic or the EBC kevlar pads. Seems that owners rave about the lighter colored dust and that it doesn't stick to wheels the same way graphite does.

Yes it takes a bit longer to clean, I can't throughly clean the inside of the rim, and cleaning the calipers is a pretty tough affair, BUT I'm looking for a more classic look - spoke wheels are too sporty for this car (sedan).

And black faced wheels get just as dirty as silver, the only time you may not notice they are dirty vs. a silver wheel is when you're rolling - they'll look just as dirty sitting next to each other.

Don't sacrafice the extra cleaning time for achieving the look you are going after!

I'm torn between the DPE (mesh) and somewhat spoke look of the PIAA S.R.s.

http://www.wheelwax.com .... say goodbye to continuously filthy wheels. It actually repels brake dust.

Cheers,
