Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes...My 05 Sedan lowered with Tanabes...
sweeetttt
Looks great. Just got my car 2 weeks ago. I lowered it with ebiach pros. I am not happy with the camber being so off. Yours looks great. The stock rear adjustment will take your camber back easy. Did all you do is add these springs. not arms, suspension?
Car looks great!
Car looks great!
I didn't even take it out of my cul-de-sac today (sick as a dog today), but I can't wait to hop back in it for a drive. It looks good just sittin in the garage. Thank you for your compliments.
So how is the ride holding up Alex? Did it settle a bunch. I recently took off my Teins as you know, and now I am considering these springs for the coupe. Whatcha think?
I've looked at the NF & SF springs for my coupe too. Not the GF, as that seems way too low like Sportlines. The NF sounds like it would be great for daily driving. Since I drive fairly aggressively and plan to do some autocross, I'm wondering if the NF might be too soft for that though...

1) I read for weeks about people's experiences with sedans with sport suspension.
2) I was unhappy with how rough, unresponsive, and wheel-hoppy my car was with my aftermarket 19s.
3) I chose Tanabe, after reading the specs. I chose the NF210 series, specifically for the sedan.
Tonight, thanks to PhxBlue (another member here on the forums with an 05 coupe), we dropped my sedan on the Tanabes.
1) Install went great, took about two and a half hours with us messing around and talking. A lot.
2) Rear end was harder than the front, as the lower cups just would not align with the rear spindle.
3) Front was cake.
4) We cut the bumpstop in half (leaving, of course, the top half of the bumpstop back in the boot).
5) We finished it all up, tightened everything once more using torque wrenches and some man power (no air tools baby, old school)
Finished product
1) Car looks amazing (wait till you guys see the pics tomorrow)
2) Oh my God. I love the way my car feels. It is nowhere as rowdy, rough, and just plain confused over speed bumps. The car feels like a sport sedan, and having driven home for 30 miles from PhxBlue's house back to mine, I took both a rough freeway, a smooth freeway, horrible streets, and nicely paved streets home. The judgement is in. The car feels incredible. My rear wheels no longer hop when taking a corner. The rebound is controlled, perfectly, over every speed bump, pothole, irregularities in the roads, etc. I took some sharp turns (that I regularly take when coming home), and the car really feels like a different car. I have not been able to bottom it out, it is so smooth and elegant (and my buddy who followed me home in his 05 WRX wagon said that the car no longer had this odd bounce that it used to when rocking down the freeway).
3) All in all, great night, great friends, great cars, and a truly beautiful finished product. I am beyond satisfied with the outcome, and anyone looking for a very smooth ride with absolutely 0 negative side effects should purchase a set of the Tanabe NF210s for their sedan (especially if you have the sport suspension). I will write a great e-mail to Tanabe for a product well designed/executed.
I am tired, hands are tired, and I gotta get some sleep. I will take pics as time allows tomorrow, I just wanted you all to know that after 4 weeks of reading and talking to people, I picked a fairly unconventional spring (not many users of it, as I have noticed), but am so happy I picked them.
Questions? Feel free to post.
