I don't know where the rings are set at. I haven't had to chance to look in there yet. All I know is it's about a one inch drop all around, and it looks hottter than before! I got them installed at Gruppe-S in Hayward California for $140. They did a great job, and I'd recommend them to everybody looking for a good price and great customer service.

Highly recommend Gruppe-S for Coilover Installation
I also just purchased Tein Basics and had them installed at Gruppe-S. Gruppe-S was able to get me the Tein Basics for a great price and the installation was also very reasonable.
I did alot of research and was highly recommended to Gruppe-S by many other G35 drivers. Even with high expectations going in, Tom at Gruppe-S managed to exceed them. Shop was extremely clean and easy to locate. Staff was very professional. I was quoted 3 hours for the installation and they were done in 2 1/2.
I am EXTREMELY pleased with the results. The installation was perfect, very clean and they even boxed up my old springs and shocks and put them in the trunk. The car rides great, ride quality is only slightly more harsh but the performance gains are impressive. Suspension is much tighter, alot less roll going into the corners and the car is more responsive to all inputs and more confident on the road.
I am going to Gruppe-S for all of my G35 needs. It's difficult to find a respectable shop you can trust, especially for an investment like the G, glad I finally found one.

I didn't really consider the Tein CS, because I wasn't thinking about tracking it, or spending that much money. I chose the Tein Basics because of the spring rate (503lbs/503lbs), and for the price.
They ran me about $780 and $140 for the install. I'm very very pleased with the results.
I haven't bought a camber kit yet, but I think I will need one. I can visually see the negative camber, but I haven't got it aligned yet to see the specs. I've narrowed my camber kits down to the 350Evo (front) and SPC (Rear). It's gonna cost a purty penny, but I think saving tire money is worth it. My dropped 97 Accord taught me that lesson.
ashadiow, your right about the height needing to be adjusted. I just haven't had the time or place to figure it out. To be honest, I've never adjusted coilovers before. I guess, once I lift it up, I'll figure it out.
Thanks for the good words G35Drivers.
Here's a couple more pics I took today, after getting my spoiler installed...
