Explain this to me

If you get 9.5 inch wheels in the rear, you usually go with 275/35/19 tires.
Why is that when you get 9.5 for the front, people seem to get 245/35/19 tires?

I'm looking for some new wheels 9.5 (F) and 10.5 (R) and was wondering if I should get the following tires, please let me know if this is a bad idea.

Front: 275/35/19
Rear: 285/30/19

275 up front will rub. get a 255 in the front and you'll be fine.

Right, I should have mention that I probably won't be lowering my car. But that makes sense, wasn't thinking.

275/35/19 front is 6% larger diameter than stock, and you'll probably need to roll the fenders.

i am running 9.5f and 10.5r and am using 245/35/19 and 285/30/19. this setup works good. although i agree 275/35/19 would be closer to the factory overall diameter, using 275's on 10.5 rims usually stretch the sidewalls a bit.
