I purchased a 2005 Coupe Sport Suspension from another member and one of the front shocks is damaged. I gave the stamped part number to a dealer and they could not find the number.

I have: 56110AM803
Infiniti: 56110AM829

Any ideas? Can anyone else confirm the numbers? Infiniti's number was listed for both 2004 and 2005. I know that 2004 did not have a "sport" option. What is going on?

You're correct that the sport suspension became only available for the 2005 Coupe 6MT. So maybe you didn't really get a 2005 Coupe Sport Suspension as advertised???

 

I called my local dealer about a month and a half ago and asked for 2005 coupe sport suspension shock part numbers. They immediately asked for a vin number. I said err hold on and went to Infiniti.com and pulled one off a car from a dealer search. I also asked them to check the spring part numbers, they said they showed the same part numbers for all years and models, (05 coupe sport suspension uses different springs) but I got the feeling that they were not looking at the same screen they had up a moment before. Here's the info they gave me on the shock part numbers.
