One thing that doesn't help is that several coupe owners believe they have the sport suspension's on their 03 or 04 cars, which is impossible since only 05's can have them and only if the car came with oem 19's.

Well that's my point, their's no such thing as a sport suspension equipped G35 coupe unless it is a 2005 coupe with factory 19's. All coupe's with oem 17's and 18's have the same suspensions, regardless of build year. The 05 sport suspension was never produced until this year, stiffer shocks, stiffer rear springs, and stiffer sway bars.
