New record for brakes?

Brought my sedan in for an oil change today. Service guy reported my front brakes where gone (less than 25%). He offered to replace them under warranty, so I said hell yeah & waited an extra 45 minutes (they did offer me a loaner which was very cool).
My mileage today is 10100. Is that normal for a guy that doesn't race except for a few canyon runs in the summer?

I just hit 30k and still have lots of meat on the pads with the brembos.

Forgot to mention...
stock non-Brembo brakes.
Could it be from the Z-tube I installed?

I've just had the brake pads replaced for the second time (free), and he rotors for the first time (free), and I only have 22,500 miles on my 2003.5 Sedan. I don't drive particularly hard, and don't autocross. Was all set to upgrade to some Hawk ceramic pads to minimize the terrible dust, but wimped out at the last minute when the dealer kept harping about how these were FREE.
I think my first set of pads were replaces around 12,000 miles!

Anyone know if you get free brake service under warranty for the coupes too?

As long as they are not brembo brakes, brake pad/rotor replacement is covered under the warranty.
