for those of you that ordered DPE wheels

I ordered DPE wheels for my coupe back on Jan. 31st and my wheels still has not arrived. I was wondering for those of you that order DPE wheels or any other custom wheels, how many weeks did you have to wait?

Thanks!

Mmmm, James from Creative promised me 8 weeks from date of order. It's been 11 weeks so far for you. I'd really start pestering them.

Nothing's up with DPE.. this kind of thing just takes time, Maybe thats why Iforged and the rest don't get all great reviews from customers being that they rush there wheels out the Door, I just Got my R07Varient S Last Wensday And let me tell you guys the wait was worth it..After all you have to be the one to live with your wheels once their delivered... So let them do there thing in a reasonable amount of time..I know how you feel I felt the same way..but I was being inpatient..give them a call before you bad mouth them...

I know that DPE are Excellent wheels, without a doubt. But when I call, they say that they are still working on it.
Its just a matter of a paying customer just wanting to know what is going on. If its delayed, at least just say so.
I'm just having warm weather fever

If you ordered 20's your delay would be due to new programming for the new forging. All 19" programming was completed however 20's fell behind. What did you order, I'll give them a call tomorrow.

I ordered the following wheels:

R07 Variant S (Titanium Asphalt finish) W/rivets
19x8 (front lip will be approx. 2")
19x10 (rear lip is approx 4")

Brent from Wholesale Hyperformance, Inc said that Jojo (Mike's partner from DPE) said the delay is because of the polishers and powdercoaters got backed up so it delayed this time out. We can't control as we outsource. Sorry.
(this was from an email wrote back to me)

I guess I just have to be a little more patience

Custom order wheels, generally takes 6-8 weeks. Sometimes delays happen, and nothing you or the Seller can do but just be patient. Also ordered DPE's and I will be going on 11 weeks myself. Ordered the wheels, from probably the largest DPE seller in the west coast. As DPE gets more popular, delays may occur more often, and specifically if they start offering chrome lips like Iforged does, it usually takes an extra 2-3 weeks, because its sent to chrome shop. ........ Iforged gets alot of bad rap IMO.
