side note, i found a "detailing brush" from target. it says its safe and wont scratch anything, but the bristles look kind of coarse and am worried it will pull off the clear. is that possible?

the CleanerWax is bascially a rubbing compound with wax. If it doesn't
come off with the cleanerwax, usually it won't come off with claybar either.
I had this happen on my old G20 with Kosei wheels... I let my wife
use the car for about a year and she basically only washed it once a
while... the wheels were stained. but i didn't care, i was done with the
car anyway and got my G35C.
