Eibach prokit vs. tein h-tech for sedan
Hello... i'm fairly new to this site and have found many helpful answers to lots of my questions through searching the forums, but reading up on the eibachs and h techs, i still don't know which ones to get. i've seen pics of both on sedans, and sometimes the eibachs look too low and someimes the htechs dont seem low enough... maybe its just the types of wheels that make the drops look different... but anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on which would be best for a sedan? I plan on having 245/40/19 all around w/ 38 os. thanks in advance for your help

this is one of those questions where it is hard for anyone to answer you specifically.
First of all, to answer your question honestly, someone would have had to have both of those kits installed at one time with your wheel setup (245/40/19 +38)
Not sure there is anyone out there that has done this. The reply you will get the most will be... I have {enter name} springs and {enter size tires} and I like it or dont like it. (most people will say what they have is the best and everything else sucks)
So, my recommendation is to figure out what kind of drop you are looking for, $$ you want to spend and then find someone on this site that something close to what you are looking at (both options). Then choose the option that best fits your pocket book, ride preference and curb side appeal.
Here is a pix of my sedan on 245/35/19x8.5 fronts and 275/30/19x9.5 rears (+42 all the way around) with the Eibach Prokit.

I recently installed Eibach Sportlines for about a 1.6+ drop, as opposed to the Prokit 1.1frnt and 1rear drop. If you are interested, you can have my prokits for $100 ($200 installed)
From my experience with the prokits, the ride was a little stiffer, bot not much. I really enjoyed the drop, but it did make sharp driveways and parking curbs a pain. Went with a lower drop for shows.
Drops on the tein (.7) vs Eibach (1") is about the same and depends on how the springs settle.
Teins are avail for about $25-$50 cheaper than the Eibachs.
Not sure on the warranties... Eibach has a million mile warranty.
I probably did not need to cut my fender line for the prokits, but did it anyway as I was planning on getting the Eibach Sportlines.
here's a pix of the cut:

Hope this helps a bit.... Cheers, ted
