Any one have Porsche Calipers?

wondering if any G35 got porsche brakes....

i'm kinda interested in getting a pair of 996 Turbo caliper and putting it on my G35

Yes. Don't get Porsche calipers. Get calipers sized properly for your car's braking system and brake bias. Brakes work as a system. You can't just slap bigger calipers on and expect better braking. You will likely end up with longer stopping distances because you'll throw off the OEM brake bias. Check out www.stoptech.com for more info and their excellent system for the G35.

996 turbo calipers are extremely powerful. also, you will probably need brake adapters to mount them on the car, but unless you are agressively tracking your car, it may be overkill. just get the brembos that they offered for the car from dealer, and some agressive pads, they will work fine.

i'd rather get Alcon or AP 6pot if i'm buying the OEM brembos from dealer and i'll probably still pay less for either of those then buying brand new OEM brembos.

the reason behind getting the used 996 turbo calipers is becuz its like the same price as a set of used OEM brembos off the G35 coupe/350z

You will have trouble finding a rotor. This has already been tried by StrictlyZ and it has sat on the drawing board due to the rotor issue.
