chrome MRR GT-1's 19x8.5 w/yokohama s-drives 245/40/19's. then a quote with 20's too. I have a 2008 g35x. The closest store is Lombard IL., and Aurora IL.

Please help me. Does anybody know the widest size tire i can put on a 20x8.5 rim. I heard i could fit a 265-35-20 tire? Does anybody know??

you could fit those on there, but the tire might be too wide for an 8.5" rim. it might look like you have a flat tire when in fact they are fully inflated. 35 is too thin for my taste, especially on 20s. that's just IMO.

personally, i'd probably go 245/255-45-20 on a 20x8.5" rim.

edit: to answer your question (sorry for going off from your question), but yeah, i guess the widest and safest tire to go would be 255
