Poll: Toyo T1-S vs. Falken GRB FK-451

Alright, I'm stuck. What tires do you guys recommend? I have previously owned the Falken's on my old car and did not have a problem with them. I have head great things about the Toyo's, also. Here are the prices i have found the wheels for:

Falken's (2) 245/35/19 and (2) 275/30/19 = $819.32 (includes shipping)
Toyo's (2) 245/35/19 and (2) 275/35/19 = $927.18 (includes shipping)

Which one's would you choose??? Please give me some input.

I have the toyo proxies t1-s on my ride now. 245/35/19 and 275/30/19. I am going to replace them with the same tires sometime this week. Awesome handling at the limit. By limit, I mean taking a 90 degree turn at ~50-60 bring the rear out, and be able to confidently bring it back and power through the rest of the turn consistently. The only other tires that I thought were as good were the Pilot sports on my Z, but those are pricey.

just my 2 cents.

i also have the T1s' on my coupe right now. the handling is superb. it really grabs the road. however, i'm putting the GRB FK451's on my car next [soon] because i want something more quiet! the Toyo T1s' are hands down great, but noisy as a ****. with my previous cars, i've had the GRB's and they are just as good as the Toyo's.

Falkens is very VERY underrated tire. I had them on my honda Prelude and used them to race on the track. WOW those things remind me of bike tires. When you warm them up even regualr highway driving... they get sticky.

great tire for rain and even better for dry. Only down fall... is that on a cold day/night anything bellow 45 they dont grip as well. These things love to be warmed up.
I wish they had sizes that would fit OEM 19s i would swap them in a hearbeat.

I have had both brands of tires on my M3 and I would say that the Toyo is a better tire. The grip for the price is awesome.

Got the Grb's and I love them. They ride great and pretty quiet. They also give a real low profile look. The toyos give a lot meatier tire look. However, I've heard nothing but good things about the toyos in terms of grip and stuff.

The Toyo's are rated really high in Consumer Reports, the Falken's not so high.

Even though the T1-Rs are not on onlinetires.com's website yet, I bet they'll offer the best prices.

That's the website I use. BUT the same Toyo Proxes T1-S tires on OnlineTires.com ($923.08) were $800.00 at Racing Zone in Orlando, FL!! I will be purchasing those tires, unless they can find the Toyo Proxes T1-R tires for me.
