225s ON BACK!?!?

HELP!!!!!

I want to go to the track next week, and my volks are too heavy because of their size.
I would like to put on my stock 18's, but the back tires on those are gone..

MY QUESTION:
Can I put the 225's from the front in the back, and put the back ones in the front?? would it matter on times because of traction!?

PLEASE HELP!!!

I think you'll have more benefit from the heavier, but WIDER 19's than you will from the 225's in the rear! You will probably see some serious oversteer issues as well by putting wider tires in front. I would run the Volks...

but my 19's are 10.5 in the back and my car has an intake and exhaust and ran a 14.7

it also is an automatic which is a big factor but it still should be better

When you say track are you drag racing? If so - I'd use the worn out 245s in the rear. As long as the cords aren't showing, you'll probably have better grip anyway.

If it is track course racing - I would go with the Volks. Much safer.
