very cool. Ive been wanting one for a long time.

So the front bolt you have on there, did you have to drill a hole into the
chassis?

hello all,

Again, thank you so much for the comments.

all of the mounting points are factory bolt locations, so i didn't do any drilling or welding on the car. the brace is very rigid, and seems to help with the ride and handling. over large bumps (while in turns), my suspension works more now, instead of twisting the body. i am very happy with it.

the dog is an english bulldog. he is great.

Thanks,
Chad

He said that this was a custom job he did for himself.. and that he wouldnt have a production version. And that if he ever did... that it would be made with cheaper stuff = plastic strut bar??? haha!

Just wait for DC and Stillen. Its listed on DC's website as a TBA product... so its on its way. We'll just have to wait

i am not going to make any bars out of cheaper materials. when i say cheaper, i mean easier and quicker for me to build. that equates to cheaper for you. my current bar took way too long to build, because it was the first time it was done, and i had to modk it up. any future construction will be made out of fewer pieces.

ahhh! IC... that makes sense. I'd like to see the design of the more affordable version.

I am working on it. since there are clearance issues, all of my designs will be without the engine cover. i understand that some people might not like that, though.

I don't drive with my hood open to show off the engine cover. I don't care
if it's on the car or not. I want a bar that is easy to install and makes the
front-end rigid.

and yes, DC sports does have one. not sure if it's out yet, but import auto perfromance has it listed.
Yea Import Performance does have it listed as a part for the G35 Coupe however they're incorrect. The one thats up there is the 350z Strut Tower, of which is not compatible with the G35. Why do these companies always assume that everything that works for the Z will also work for the G .

because when a Japanese person pronounces Z as "zee" it sounds like
G and they all get confused.

Z is pronounced "zettoh" in Japan.
