SF Winning PIC, should I be concerned?

Got my SF Winnings last week. These are some beautiful wheels. WOW.

I noticed a few slight and I mean slight imperfections of half the wheels. Take a look at the pic. In the center of the wheel it looks like a grain of sand or rock is under the paint.

Anyone else experience this? Should I say something? It's not really noticeable unless you get like a half a foot away and look at it closely. I don't want to have to sent it back. I waited a month and a half!

For those with Volk look at your wheels closely, have you seen this too?

I'd say just keep it... I couldn't even detect where the imperfection is, if you don't show me the arrow..

I would keep them, I too could barely notice the defect. But they are your wheels and if You are not satisfied, then take action.

that's what sucks, when you wait so long for your wheels and they come in with stuff wrong with them. You don't want to send them back because you waited so long and don't want to have to wait again. I'm in the same situation and am in the process of finding a place to repair my wheels.

YOU got to be kidding me!...my SF winnings had at least 1-2 flaws per rim that i can find....that's not a flaw....u will have something inside or outside on the rims that wont' be perfect!!!!!......i thought the same thing when i got mine.....even my BBS rims had some "flaw" on the finish somewhere....mount them and enjoy them...and after 2 months of use when those fine light scratches become an issue...then you can say "what the F**k" heheheheh

SF winning 19" 9.5/10.5...Mich PS-2 Tires 245/275-35-19

They are.....
19 x 9.5 +29 front
19 x 10.5 +29 rear

the lip size is...(according to their website..........
67mm front or 2.6 Inches
80mm rear or 3.2 rear

Not sure if they will clear Brembos, check out this thread for your answer....

I too am going to get the exact same tires.
Everyone says they will be stretched,
but that setup keeps your spedometer about the same.

Looks Awesome..HOW"s the Ride on those?

At first....when i switched the rims from the stock 18" i thought the ride and noise quality were IMPROVED believe it or not..but now that i have a couple thousand miles on the rims/tires....i wonder what it will be like when i switch back to the stock rims for the fall/winter.....I'll let u know....but initially....drastic improvement...but some say that as the tires wear down the noise issue and ride quality goes to ****....we'll see in a couple of months....

well, looks like I'm not the only person with this setup anymore (9.5/10.5 +29 all the way around)

Anyways, I wouldn't worry about the slight imperfections - I have a few "grain" looking spot on the inside of a couple of the spokes that are very similar to what you are talking about - however they are not noticable unless I'm cleaning the wheels and have my nose damn near between the spokes... regardless, after I step back and take them in, it's pretty hard to NOT have the biggest smile on my face
